Castlebar Community Garden

This is the concept plan that I did for Castlebar Community Garden. The circulating paths form a leaf shape, symbolizing the importance of photosynthesis and plants to all our lives.

The lines of a terraced grass bank follow the pattern of parallel leaf venation and create an amphitheatre in front of a staging area while paths divide the lower garden into sections representing those plants that have reticulate venation. All options can be paid by monthly instalment over 5 or ten months. So now you can get a recognaised horticultural qualification for €37.00 over ten months, that is less then €10.00 per week.
