Charity Head Shaving for CD’s Helping Hands

We are a group of guys about to climb Mount Blanc to raise money in aid of CD’s Helping Hands. We have organised a charity Head Shaving, Chest Wax and Leg Wax event in the Spanish Arch Hotel in Galway City on the 30th of January from 7pm to 9pm.
All Money raised from this event will go directly to providing practical support to families whose children are undergoing treatment for cancer. Those children have to travel to Crumlin for their primary treatment and this has a direct impact on family life. In most cases there are other siblings to care for and while mum, dad or guardians travel to Dublin, the remainder of the family’s needs are taken care of too.

CD’s Helping Hands are giving support to families in Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, Donegal and Limerick.

The Charities main objective is to simply provide practical support to families in the west of Ireland who are affected by a diagnosis of childhood cancer.

All are welcome to join in and either have some fun or have some hair removed!

For more information visit CD’s Helping Hands website.
